We had a wonderful Gotcha Day 09 with Sophie and even got to celebrate with JM, her best little friend!
We made our traditional heart shaped cake. Sophie wore yellow to remember the color that she wore when we first met her. Her gifts were a globe and a puzzle that she'll figure out when she's my age, or older! In the evening, we went out to eat at a Chinese Restaurant which is all of our favorites!
Our neighbor, Ms. Ann, gave Sophie a priceless gift. Ann gave Sophie a quilt that her mother had made and had never been used. Sophie loves it. We use it outside on our swing or for picnics, and I am sure we will cuddle up with it on our couch this winter.
