So, I decided to be CHEAP and attend a free local CNY event. It was pretty lame-o compared to what we usually do...it got so bad at one point that Steve stopped videoing the Lion Dance, it was just too embarrassing. On the upside Sophie looked cute, no one was sick, it wasn't raining on the way to and from the car (looong walk). ummm, what else? Oh, our dinner was very yummy, Pei Wei and as always, we were happy to be together. Next year we'll spring for the real deal in Nashville and Shepherd will be with us!
I also made a little area decorated for the occasion. Yes, it is a rock garden, it's all I could find...work with me...Sophie loved it.
