On May 10, 2006, we officially adopted Sophie. I love that we were privileged to get to have her ayi (nanny) there and even get a picture with me and Sophie. I will never forget the love she had for Sophie. When we left the orphanage (SWI) she was crying. I pray one day Sophie will get to go back and say thank you for taking care of me.
Lot's of celebrating going on. Today Sophie helped me make Texas sized cupcakes. (thanks Granny Hollis) Sophie loved cracking the eggs and helping to stir the batter. She especailly loved to pick off the sprinkles and gobble them up.
